Now, he’s getting well-deserved recognitionCLEVELAND, Ohio - An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper received some well-deserved recognition Wednesday for saving the life of a gunshot victim .
“I saw a car that was pulled into a drive and there was a mail waving me down. Anytime we see anyone waving us down we’re going to go check. As soon as I walked up I could see that there was a large amount of blood so immediately I think maybe he got shot, maybe he got stabbed. I went immediately back to my patrol car and got my trauma sizers and I grabbed a tourniquet,” said Trooper Boyer.
