Lawmakers in Ohio have brought forth a resolution petitioning the NCAA to reinstate Ohio State's wins from the 2010 season that were vacated due to players receiving improper benefits as part of the"Tattoogate" scandal, theOhio State vacated 12 wins from the 2010 season after Terrelle Pryor, Boom Herron, DeVier Posey, Mike Adams and Solomon Thomas were found to have exchanged memorabilia in return for tattoos, improperly profiting off of their name image and likeness.
"This resolution does not say anything about the sanctions," Stewart told The Dispatch. "This resolution says enough is enough. The NCAA's view of what is permissible for players has changed drastically in the last twelve years." This is not the first time an attempt has been made to reinstate Ohio State's 2010 season. Shortly after the NCAA's new name, image, and likeness rules went into effect over the summer, the"Tattoo 5" of Pryor, Herron, Posey, Adams, and Thomas, records and legacies from the 2010 season be restored.
Get in line behind USC....
Wish they could reinstate TerrellePryor with his Senior Season/Heisman Campaign and JimTressel5 with his job/career! What a joke the NCAA is and was!
Why? They screwed up it’s over! Move on!!!
Pointless posturing to try and gain popularity with our football crazed state. Our legislators should be ashamed of waste taxpayer money on crap like this. At least the NIL stuff helped thousands across the state
Thanks Pryor, you're still not a Buckeye in my program
No one needs to ask the NCAA for their blessing or anything else. They are completely powerless and inept. Just claim those games and call it a day. No one will care except the mouth breathers in TTUN
Just ahead of their time.
Shouldn’t this “lawmaker” be focused on further gerrymandering state maps?
Honestly I just want the Michigan game to count so they can stop saying 59-51-6 as if we all didn't watch the game in 2010 take place lmao
Who cares? Get sports gambling passed sooner.
Don’t they have better things to do ?
Not happening
To bad they can't figure out new voting districts. NCAA has no power just reclaim the wins
Only Ohio (or maybe backwards ass Alabama and Louisiana) would do this. Lol. What a cluster fuck of a state
Ohio legislature, putting their people first... Right behind football games from 11 years ago.
How about giving ncaa $1. That would be more effective
Thanks for highlighting my resolution HCR28. These sanctions affected the records and stats of every member of the team. If a sophomore WR caught 3 TDs that season, today, they still don’t count towards their career records.
This is dumb!

Hey politicians, we remember who won the game on the field. Please do something productive such as legalize marijuana, fix our potholes & repair our infrastructure.
I watched the games. We know what happened.
Lol......I never gave them up!!!!
Why tho? It doesn’t change anything
Nothing better to do, eh?
Didn’t Notre Dame just reclaim some wins? Just claim the wins. Should never have recognized the wins being taken.
Don’t we have better stuff to do
All that to still be down in the series?
Ohio lawmakers have much better and much more important things to do than this. Stop wasting tax payer dollars on these political stunts.
I guess some lawmakers are looking for some votes because they sat silent for the last 12 years. Purely a political agenda
Does Tressel get his job back? Most importantly it adds a W against TTUN
What will this honestly accomplish? It’s been 12 years.
To be honest I’ve always counted it.
Let it gooo
Then: You can't get a job or trade your own stuff for tattoos. Now: Come to our school and our 'friends of the program' will give you a million in NIL.
