Surveillance video released by the Kenosha Unified School District Friday shows an off-duty Kenosha police officer put his knee on the neck of a 12-year-old girl to restrain her for more than 20 seconds while attempting to break up a fight in the cafeteria of Lincoln Middle School.

The video, which includes different angles of the incident without sound, shows a fight begin between two students as an off-duty officer, working school security at the time, attempts to break it up before either being hit or falling backward with one of the students. It appears he hits his head on the edge of a nearby table.

These officers need to face charges for this behavior.

unacceptable

So? Stop with the over reaction until all facts are in. Ty

There is no fucking reason to put your full weight on the neck of a young girl!

Police officers in US are racist in world. Racism is very high in US.

bisa kalian apa....

Would have been better to just let the kids beat the shit out of each other

Only if it would have been in Gaza....

Weight and height of 12 year old please.

Isn't this where Baby Kyle's jury acquitted him I am SHOCKED this happened!!!!

He should be suspended and take a training class in self control and de- escalation. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Tough situation…if it was to escalate to say a shooter situation then the officer and school would be blamed for not doing enough.

Some IDIOTS never learn!

I always like to imagine that cops like these individuals was bullied alot in school and they take it out on others in their later years

Kenosha, say less.

You don’t need to be a cop if you can break up a school yard fight between girls without assaulting one of them. Children fight. No need for arrest, call their parents, suspend them, but a knee to the neck? Handcuffs? This makes no sense at all.

A whole 20 secs? Who cares
