I spent twenty hours in 'The Tombs' a few weeks back for blowing 0.01 over the limit. That place is Hell on earth. The inmates -who aren't even convicted yet, are denied access to fresh water and told to drink from filthy sink, which also doubles as the prison bidet.
I don't care for Manafort. I don't care for people who commit heinous crimes. I do believe that spending 23 hrs/day in solitary confinement is a form of torture that out society is above. It's not a popular opinion, I realize.
