Obesity makes COVID-19 worse and may lead to deadly blood clots in the lungs, according to a new study. What to know:

Poyiadi added that a recent study suggests that COVID-19 patients should be placed on blood thinners to prevent clotting.

What is surprising is it looks like using statins might be helpful. Statins are anti-inflammatories, Siegel noted.

Oh well. Maybe people should take better care of themselves. There are so many severely obese people it's disgusting. And, the healthy are supposed to shelter, wear masks, to save their lives when they couldn't care less about their own life.
