Obama Writes Essay on George Floyd Protest, Calls for Real Change

penned a lengthy essay urging the country to “get to work” to enact criminal justice reform and address systemic racism.

“Let’s not excuse violence, or rationalize it, or participate in it,” Obama wrote. “If we want our criminal justice system, and American society at large, to operate on a higher ethical code, then we have to model that code ourselves.”He pointed to elections as a force of change, denouncing the notion that voting won’t make a difference.

“It’s mayors and county executives that appoint most police chiefs and negotiate collective bargaining agreements with police unions,” he wrote. “It’s district attorneys and state’s attorneys that decide whether or not to investigate and ultimately charge those involved in police misconduct. Those are all elected positions.”

What was this fraud and faff doing for 8 years in office? Black community too needs to dig deep and introspect. Why they don't study? Why they don't have stable family? Why their songs eulogize Gun culture, abuses. Angst? fair but its 150 years freedom already.

Why he didn't do anything during his presidential years....we are back in 2013-2014...the only thing to do is to send this minority of ''unecessary violent cops'' in jail.

His last idea of change was bailing out banks and making sure they never faced prosecution
