Oakland police chief put on administrative leave following scathing report, sources say

The firm, which was hired by the city to investigate the department, said Armstrong violated department rules because he failed to hold officers accountable and allowed them to escape discipline.

After hearing the news, it looks like the oakland mayor is way out of line when she went after the police chief. If he is being blocked from acting by the feds, then she better reverse her bad choice.

The report is about an officer who hit somebody’s bumper and at a later date fired a weapon in an elevator at police headquarters. Saying the guy wasn’t properly disciplined.
