O.J. Simpson's Death Shocks Las Vegas Community

The announcement also shocked many in the Las Vegas Valley.

Several Las Vegas locals said they've spotted Simpson on numerous occasions hanging out at local shops, restaurants, and golf courses in the Summerlin area. One golf course in particular, that Simpson was known to frequent was the Angel Club Golf Club near Rampart and Summerlin Parkway.Employees from several businesses Simposin would frequent across the valley said for the most part he simply came and went, keeping to himself and his friends and family, but said he never hesitated to take a picture with others when asked.

In the social media post announcing his passing, Simpson's family has asked for privacy during this time. It was also shared that Simpson had died after a battle with
