For nearly eight hours, as Wohl paced around a holding cell in the Midtown South precinct, his phone picked up conversations among dozens of cops who did not appear to know they were being recorded. “Bail reform sucks. But it's also one of the best things that's ever happened, too,” Wohl’s arresting officer, Shaun Enright, said to a coworker in the recording. “God is great, bro.”

He said the cell was filled with feces, and that his attempts to retrieve a bottle of water were met with insults.
Is this surprising?! They’re in the subway supposedly on duty showing their presence looking at their cell phones! I’m not allowed cell phone use at work, why are police?!!

Bahaha. The second i saw Wohl picture i knew immediately he is a laborer. I don’t get these people no matter what job or field they go into they always go for the job that requires the least of everything
Important story. But you indicate that NYPD overtime cost $2.2 Million in 2022, when I'm sure what was meant was $2.2 Billion.
Man, I can guarantee you that you can find hundreds of NYC government employees abusing overtime. It's common practice. It just takes year's afterwards to find out.
