NYPD commander sent text message saying Eric Garner's death was ‘not a big deal’

It was revealed in a hearing that an NYPD commander sent a text message to another officer on the day Eric Garner was killed saying his death was "Not a big deal. We were effecting a lawful arrest." Eric Garner’s mother, Gwen Carr, tells Lawrence it was a slap in the face.

This is insane behavior from an Officer of the law!!
