A 26-year-old New York man pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography after he extorted multiple teens around the country, including one in Cumberland County. Upper Allen Township police said they got a report about Joshua Valle, of Schenectady, accusing him of victimizing a local resident in May 2022.

Once police learned that Valle had victimized several other children across the country, the case was turned over to federal prosecutors and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
