NY Gov. Kathy Hochul unveils $1B mental health care in State of the State address

Kathy Hochul is announcing plans Tuesday to add 1,000 beds for inpatient psychiatric treatment and create 3,500 housing units to address gaps in the state's mental health care system.

The plan would increase insurance coverage for mental health services, expand outpatient services and create greater accountability in hospital admissions and discharges. The state also would create 150 new adult beds in state-operated psychiatric hospitals, including 100 in New York City.

Be careful NY, last time ya got looted by DeBlasios wife and homelessness exploded as a result. It's not much fun, but it's important to pay attention. 🙏

So she gets the help she needs on the tax payers dime.

Two things democrats love throwing money at, homeless and mental health. Both will never get solved under their tenure, but it allows them to flow money through these programs to their donors who all of a sudden opened an LLC in mental health
