"Within a half hour from me getting there and getting up to the [labor and delivery] floor, Axel was born," said Alfermann."I didn’t even get to hold him. Vricella, who was not involved in Alfermann's care, said doctors and researchers are learning more and more now, as the pandemic continues, about the negative effects COVID may have on pregnant people.
