It's high time we simply implement Montessori ideology to education across the nation because unschool, homeschool and Montessori educated children are do just finea

My HS kids are a mess. School invaded their homes for a year and a half (20-21 was hybrid for us). They can’t focus IN class and do everything at home. They group cheat. Big time. Zero integrity. Parents enabling. Attendance is a joke. Hating the job. HATING.

The kids are alive. Did people make such comparisons of kids going through other national crisis like WW II.

Educators. Pay them better. Respect them. Keep the politicians out of back seat driving. Tell politicians to find a new political football to kick out at election times. Children need educators and they are literally being run out.

Hmm, So,what can we do? Oh, I know, how about we cut class sizes in half, nation wide so more children can be reached, and therefore, helping them to catch up both academically and emotionally. Sorry, such a silly thought, I know America isn't into that sort of thing politically.

''It's just way too much has been put on our shoulders,' she said. 'I feel like they expect us to juggle 18 different balls and hop on one foot while saying our ABCs backwards. I mean, that's how it feels. And I feel like it doesn't seem like there's any relief in sight.''

We were told that kids were resilient and would do fine

NPR is culpable for not reporting on this obvious and inevitable outcome back in 2020.

In my district, we were only out for spring 2020. We came back Aug. 2020 with masks and continued onward. Most of our kids are on track, thank goodness.

Why are we so determined to keep our kids on some imaginary path? So they fell behind during the pandemic…they’ll be okay.

It's almost like the experts were disastrously wrong...

NPR Cookie Consent and ChoicesThis department is absolutely terrified of any type of transparency or accountability. The people of Uvalde deserve better than a bunch of cowards in tactical gear. They definitely shot some kids. So sad. Corruption is everywhere. Police, Government, MAFIA-ceuticals, Multinationals etc. unfortunately, a silent social anger is growing, a silent Tsunami.
