5 hrs after NPR posted this, and no one wants to recognize it? Lots of people preach that we are 1 in gun violence. Our mileage does vary.

Ask Lightfoot what her solutions for gang violence are? Curfews, and no bail jails, sounds marvolous.

The more logical comparison is, how the US compares to other similar countries. When looked at that way the US comes off very, VERY poorly.

Eliminate soft targets. Support Second Amendment, simple.

I would bet that beyond the superficial gun ownership restrictions the culture of predation and narcasistic exhaltation play a huge role in violant crime.

Now tell me, why more than fifty percent of US MURDERS are committed by Black Americans, now about 14% of our population. Why is that. Who, Race, Religion, etc is the second largest group of murders. Once we know who and where murders happen, maybe we can cut crime and save lives
