The gun industry and our impotent political leaders should be forced to indemnify against the atrocities they enable. Tax payers are forced to pay for this despite being unable to directly control or rectify the situation. Make those responsible pay!
They should also sue the NRA. The NRA has radicalized gun enthusiasts and used fear, hate and conspiracy theories to boost gun sales after every school shooting. Gun sales increase after school shootings and during democratic admins bcuz the NRA drives misinformation.
Can schools get some policing funds? Schools have to educate our children. They have to parent our children. They have to feed our children. They have to provide health care for our children. They have to prevent crimes by children... but not waste a dime of my darn tax dollars!!
It is so sad that there will never be a solution to gun violance in the US because of Americans' obsession with owning firearms. UK banned guns in 1997, and it has become incredibly rare to be injured by a firearm, let alone to be killed by one. A much safer society than the US.
