A cause for concern means we need to mitigate, do everything possible to slow spread while scientists gather data and Pharma modifies the vaccine/boosters if omicron proves vaccine resistant.
Travel restrictions r nonsense, since Omicron travels thru cyberspace. It was created in metaverse, & is therefore a cybervirus. Omicron can't be stopped by conventional methods. Only by entering virtual reality, will u have a chance to keep it from proliferating. It's crafty

If it's not cause for panic and it's likely already in the U.S.... why implement the travel ban? Why not simply strengthen vaccine, testing and quarantine protocols for all incoming international visitors?
The take away is unchanging. Get vaccinated. 1st world must vaccinate 3rd. There’s no amount of shutdown that can keep up with microscopic virus.
So, don’t panic, it’s a cautionary pause.
