No the elderly & disabled do not get this increase. Insurance companies per Medicare law, have increased costs beyond this ss raise. This occurs every yr and there are no offsets for elderly and disabled poor. Police, yes, fire, yes, nurses, yes, etc. SenateDems HouseDemocrats

Social Security is NOT a retirement investment program! If you think it is then you needed to pay better attention in high school and have done your homework 40 years ago! It was your responsibility to save and prepare for retirement all those years.
