Yeah much of this is being organized by right wing groups but I'm not sure why unless they are also being backed by Russia. They are trying to tear down America at every level.

In the US, only 4 years of chaos, robbery and impunity were enough for 74M people to show in public their real face.
Fox and their ilk pumping fear, rage and disinformation into half the country 24 hours a day - what did you think was going happen?
These disrupters are prop protesters. How about someone doing an investigation on just who these people are and who is supporting them? There’s enough evidence that they don’t have kids in school, aren’t local residents- why are they there? Who are they?
After failing to overthrow the U.S. government, Republicans desperately hoping they can overthrow something … anything ….. a school or an airplane.

Reading this headline, I was expecting “violent attacks and death threats” on buses. Spit out my coffee when it read school board meetings.
As if we didn't already know the tinfoil crowd is dangerous. Maybe go back to Zoom. Or treat them like zoning meetings where they have to prove they are directly affected by school board decisions in order to be there.
I strongly suggest parents govern their own unruly children because you won't like the government response and method I assure you

These 'parents' are dangerous. Death threats bevause peiple want to educates and keep your child safe?! You don't like what the public system is teaching? Then homeschool or find a school that aligns with your values. Understand teachers don't get paid enough to put up w/ this.

This has been happening in classrooms for decades. Hope the school boards get more support than teachers did.
If the cities, counties and states won't protect the people of this country then maybe the military should step in? They'd be better off fighting terrorists here than somewhere overseas!
These parents are being physically aggressive to school board members. It's not civilized and not what we want our children to learn about dealing with conflict. They are all ramped up because T*** and his party would not admit defeat or any wrong doing. The impact is real.

Considering their aversion to bad publicity as it makes folks less likely to vote yes on a school bond, this tells me they are scared. And they should be, because they are in danger from citizens roiled by Donald Trump and his true believers, and the bourbon drinking Republicans

Only the part time workers get assurance and under 109k workers and over the cut off level get no grants or assistance sometimes with several children in college. I've been calling for this as one aspect to fix FAFSA for several months. Couple with this simplifying Income Driven Repayment Plans and setting current payments to 0 dollars monthly for those who qualify will go a long way in addressing the student loan problem. You used to be on my trusted friend list!
