Such a tragedy. Celebrating their 50th and looking forward to many more years together. Normally, travel by rail in the U.S. is among the safest.
This is just tragic. I hope it was swift and they didn’t suffer at all. May their family and friends find comfort as they try to comprehend their loss.
So sad.
Seems like a near-perfect way to go, if only they’d had another 25 years.
One of these days there will be a story about people who died in an accident where people surprise everyone reading about those victims by saying “eh, those two people were total pieces of shit. Honestly the world is better off without them. Fuck ‘em.”
