This all reminds me of 1975 as the NVA rushed into Saigon, South Vietnam fell, and there was the mad evacuation scene at the US Embassy there. We left a lot of Vietnamese who helped us to hang out to dry then, too.
Were any of those men members of the Afghan security forces trained by US military to defend their country?
