Very frightening to me, of course I am against any misinformation, but why does the government get to decide what is and isn’t misinformation? Seems like this law, if passed, will be challenged, held to a strict scrutiny standard and overturned. Klobuchar knows this it’s for show

From 2014 to 2020, Social Media let the cancer grow without doing anything. For years they let that cancer metastase. A treatment came too late. On January 6th the American Democracy almost died. It's not out of the woods yet.

Section 230 was written to protect companies. The question is whether this speech is a clear and present danger. Justice Holmes wrote 'the character of every act depends upon the circumstances in which it is done.' Is misinformation causing explict harm or complicit ignorance?
