NPR story on corporate boards being concerned for their Execs. Who .. cares?! Why is this a story?! Oh no! Multi-millionaire board members are concerned for their billionaire! Typical NPR hero-worship of neo-liberal establishment 'issues'. Amazingly obtuse.

Who f*cling cares? No. Really. Who cares?

It kind of makes me sick really.

I thought I heard a computerized voice posing as a reporter yesterday on NPR. Did anyone else hear this? ai npr

How many people would not be hungry if all that money had gone to help the poor out of poverty.

While we breathlessly await Bezos’ vanity play, let’s keep in mind as we watch the little boy b’naire realize his lifelong dream of going into space, he doesn’t pay taxes & he’s spewing millions of ’s of pollutants into the atmosphere while the West burns and Europe drowns.

Am I the only one that can see that his rocket looks like a giant penis 🤔🤣

It sure does undermine kids' dreams of becoming an astronaut. Instead of doing the work--master's degree in STEM field, pilot, astronaut training, pass NASA physical--now just get rich and you too can travel into space. I have no respect for those people buying their way in.

Amazon exploited its workers so Jeff Bezos could fly.

Such a waste of $$$. Egotist.

Joining Bezos on his rocket: - his brother, Mark - 18-year-old Oliver Daemen, who'll become the youngest person to reach space - 82-year-old Wally Funk, who'll become the oldest person to reach space Learn more about Funk, a pioneering female aviator:

Hopefully that shit blows up. Fuck JeffBezos

Hopefully to never return.

NPR Cookie Consent and ChoicesBill the producers for the cost of collection...The cost will get passed on and consumers will change behavior. Say it with the rest of us - 'Corporations are the biggest contributors to our waste and pollution problems and need to be condemned for doing absolutely nothing to help' OR - and here's a thought! - you can stop blaming consumers for corporate plastic use/polluting... (Not that people shouldn't be responsible where possible. But all of us individuals doing the max still wouldn't have the effect of one big multinational corp cleaning up it's act)

NPR Cookie Consent and ChoicesIt’s almost like there’s still a pandemic going on How is the Olympic Village not a bubble similar to the NBA or even the UFC’s? We know it’s possible to hold sporting events safely in a controlled environment so why has this been so hard to set up? These should be canceled, someone could die terying to compete this year.

NPR Cookie Consent and Choiceskmt ~ not y’all tryna bring race politics to the world of geocaching. we mainly get approached by cops because the activity is suspicious af. I am a 40-something white woman geocacher with over 11k finds. Most every geocacher I know has had at least one LEO (law enforcement officer) encounter in their time in the game. Yes, they usually just don’t know about it yet and we educate them. I'm waiting for story one day where heavily armed and armored police arrive in force to a funeral home looking for 'X', and a mourner points to the casket 'X' is lying in. Laugh. But just wait. It's coming.
