''You see this a lot going on in predominantly Black communities. They don't come to you. They don't have no town meetings with you,' says Angelique Mitchell, a custodian with the school district and a Wallace resident.' Disadvantaged minorities get burdens but without benefits.

'No one invests in jobs in our community...No, we don't want THOSE kind of jobs.' Ironically, I've seen this same thing happen in my mostly white rustbelt hometown. It's always similar opposition..not in my backyard, we don't want new people moving in, etc.

Ok folks...l.First tweet of the day and it's about...... ....race. 'Race'....Those of you who had 'race' for the first woke tweet of the day, fill it in. The rest of you, take heart, your NPRWokeBingo cards will be filled by the end of the morning at latest.

Racial divisions is a distraction from the oldest and true divider which is social classes. It sounds communist but it’s true. Upper class old money, old names feel superior to the rest because they’ve got the power to oppress.

I understand the concern and negative impact this factory could have. Don't quite follow (or understand) environmental racism.

I bet I know who is buying.....

Reaching much.. Poor community don’t need jobs.. Throw a little slavery in for attention. Sugarcane much...

NPR has been a prime racist organization for years; NPR support by US tax payers should be an obvious no-go
