Something that I’ve recently learned. Men are better at everything. They’re even better at being women than women are at being women.

Hubbard is a 43 year old male bodied person who is breaking all of New Zealand records. There is NOTHING great about male bodies competing against real women. Nothing.

Disgraceful.

I'm a 34 year old man who would never dream of disrespecting women like this. Normally you'd be crying 'rich white male privilege!' But a razor and a wig makes him stunningandbrave

Scienceofsport has done episodes on this issue you will find informative.

No, NPR. New Zealand has allowed a mediocre male athlete to take the place of a female athlete and possibly steal her medal and the honors and benefits that come with it. And it is wrong.

Trans women are women. I mean, what do people not understand? The mantra says it all! Magic words ought to be enough. Men's feelings matter so much more than women's.

This is we’re the left goes anti science. Just like the right does with climate.

IOC: Semenya you're banned from the 800 meters because you have T levels higher than 5nmol/L Same IOC: All transgenders with T lower than 10nmol/L are welcome. Can the iocmedia at least be consistent? It seems you have different standards for different women?

You people can keep pretending there is nothing wrong with this until one of these trans athletes from say Judo, Wrestling or Boxing steps into the ring and starts decimating women... then your arguments die like your good sense...

Men competing against women in weightlifting…seems completely fair and normal LMAO

So, what I’m getting out of this article is, I should place some bets on New Zealand winning gold in women’s weightlifting.

I get the trans thing and I'm cool with it. But 'she' has went through male puberty and clearly has an unfair advantage. But what do I care? I don't.

Do feelings work on weights like they do gender and we ignore facts? Can a heavy weight say I feel light I am the weight of a flyweight and compete in the flyweight division?

*

All the other women are now probably competing for the silver medal. CModeci Laurel Hubbard do you think that's fair competition?

Mediocre male takes place of outstanding female. What a travesty.

Im transgender, questions, does a low T count after the muscle is built is considered qualifying? Does hormones levels control the amount of muscle and strength that can be built? I'm curious.

'trans women on average had an advantage over cisgender, or nontransgender, women.' A new low in editorial misconduct. Try this: 'Men have an advantage over women.'

Don’t plan on watching the Olympics, but all the same I’ll be rooting for Feagaiga Stowers, an Indiginous woman and sexual abuse survivor.

I hope she wears proper support for her testicles. Men commonly describe the sensation of a hernia as feeling like something has popped, or given way.

If the women athletes do not stand united to protest this and fight for their right to fair competition then who are we to complain? If they care, it's their fight. If they don't give a shit why should we?

Terrible.

You know you can clearly see that she is going to have a strength advantage over the other women.

Dang, New Zealand just keeps hitting the home runs. What a fantastic country leading the way as a beacon in the world.

lets wait and see what happens. He was a loser as a he, may still be a loser as a she.

I hope he gets banned...🤷‍♂️

So many negative comments about this guy. Let’s wish him the best & hope he wins the gold medal.

'New Zealand is just like Wales, but on acid' ~A drunk guy convincing me to go to New Zealand

Gavin Hubbard was 35 when he transitioned to become Laurel. He achieved nothing as a male weightlifter but is an Olympian as a woman. This is appalling.
