AI should be able to confirm fictional Biden votes, but hasn't.

they kind of thrive on fakes so i'm sure these new tools are not to be used until the profits suffer..

They can spot deep fakes but not sarcasm?!

Orwell was right.

...but they have no clue about sarcasm.

wait until the news media gets a hold of this technology. if they still exist by then.

So when will they start doing it ?

Isn't Facebook the place where most of these videos are first posted?

'now on npr. Deep fake researchers have now found a way to bypass Facebook new deep fake detection algorithm.'

Who will use this info to stop this practice of lies ?

Once again, 'disinformation' and 'misinformation' means LIES. Deepfakes don't generate themselves for the hell of it.

I don't trust Facebook, the company known for spying on people and allowing disinformation to tell me about deepfakes and their origin. Sounds like a way to go after people they don't like legally.

Start looking inward not just your company but some of you who enabled this dis/misinformation. The first thought that came to mind 4 me was , this will be weaponized . Facebook will never care cause $ is who they follow.

Someone pump the breaks on the Facebook Monopoly before they destroy America for good.

Artificial intelligence or just a complex algorithm examining certain data points against existing databases? Because the former seems like a bad idea.

I still don’t trust facebook so… 🤷🏼
