Snowbird’s marketing campaign sums it up

Utah is a fly over state. Move along. Stay in California. You wanted a progressive place to live, you built it at a cost of making the place unlivable by the masses, and now you're looking for something to leach off of.

Your mouth needs to work on my cock, bitch

Keep Utah peculiar!

GO AWAY GO AWAY GO AWAY

What Utah lacks is the trove of cash that tech venture capital operates on. UT already has tech capability, infrastructure, the great outdoors and calls themselves silicone slopes. Still, the money is largely elsewhere.

Good riddance tech bros.

No thanks.

'You need to let us colonize you with the same mind viruses that wrecked CA.' NO

We don’t want you here

RatioLeaders

Take your tech colonizing somewhere else

We dont want you here.

No one should ever want the 'next silicon valley'; unfair tax abatements, skyrocketing housing and CoL... it's a curse, not a boon. As one who was forced to leave the place they loved because I could no longer afford to exist there... trust me, it's the last thing you want.

SLC county did vote for Biden in the elections, and has been voting for democratic mayors for over 40 years. so at least that's going for them.

You mean freaky Mormon don’t ever say anything against Joseph freak show smith crazy ass image image problem? Uh, duh

Utah is awful. Don't move here.

Only a matter of time Utah rules!

I've been several times... tech conferences, etc. They have a LOOOOONNNG way to go.

I don't live in Utah anymore but I don't anyone living there is thinking, 'Boy, I wish we could solve our image issues so we could get even MORE people living here!' It's overcrowded. Only governments want more people there because of $$$.

The demise of Silicon Valley has been predicted since the term was first identified. So I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I personally know people leaving Utah for the reasons mentioned here.

I work in LA in an industry that's tech-adjacent, my company also has a Utah office. But I don't care what they gave me, I could never move to Utah. I know it's beautiful out there but no thanks.

Utah is very white, and the people, for the most part, are known to be cliquish, cultish and fraught with fraud. Utah highly acceptable to conspiracy theories and revisionist history taught in their Mormon Church ward. The blood moon terrifies them, & they embrace wife beaters.

Maybe big tech can just buy an island somewhere and go there. It would be the best option

Utah doesn't have enough water for a huge influx of people.

Like the liquor laws, good luck with that.
