Criminals always cry when they get busted damn what do you think they're supposed to do be happy they got caught that's what criminals do

I guess it doesn't matter if there's video!

Why aren't they listing all the people shot to death in Columbus/Franklin county ? Why is there no out cry for the 100's shot every year by their fellow citizens

Don’t know the details but I’m guessing every single black ‘perp’ shot by police had committed a crime, didn’t listen to police direction, had a weapon and a rap sheet a mile long.

HEY NPR, here's a novel idea...try and obtain the facts before blindly posting things with your leftist rhetoric! The police officer save that black girl's life! Would you rather she get stabbed to death? Imagine that headline? Seems police can't do anything right!

'Activists' hahahaha. Angry blacks

I've been supportive of BLM, still am, however when they protest the cases where police do their job appropriately, they risk losing support. Can't have it both ways. The officer saved a black girl, let's not lose sight of that.

When are they gonna submit the list of criminals that were threatening the well being of another or the entire community? Oh is it the same list? Damn. Sounds like we have a parent problem.

Is this the girl that was trying to stab another girl?

Stop committing violent crime and I guarantee the number of black people killed by the police will drop to almost none. Or just continue pushing your narrative.

I'm sure a fair amount of those black folk were aggressive criminals. These people going to capitalize to the fullest on their ten minutes of fame.

Criminal Terrorist Police MUST Suffer CONSEQUENCES.

What was the name of the woman that didn’t get stabbed? That does not fit your narrative

So in a few seconds the cop should’ve known that the girl about to plunge a knife into a victim was the one who called 911—and he should’ve covered the distance to tase her at close range? Who starts to knife an unarmed person just as the cops arrive?

Columbus 'activists' might better spend their time addressing the carnage in Columbus streets. The murder rate in Columbus is 3.5x that of NYC (69% increase over 2019). In a city that is 29% Black, 76% of murder victims are Black.

She was a blink of an eye away from plunging her knife into another girl's throat! The cop didn't shoot til the last moment to prevent what coulda easily been a murder. There was no time for de-escalation. But it's easier to blame police than violent community members.

People are quick to blame Police but Bryant was in foster care and tried to kill 2 people. Where is the blame for Bryant's parents who clearly didn't raise her right? What about her extended family and their failure to care for her? Bryant attempted murder; the cop had no choice!

Nothing new

That cop deserves a fucking medal 🏅

Maybe the reform should be to stop doing stupid shit so the cops don't have to shoot you.

Stop spreading propaganda. United States Totals 2020 Deaths by Police- Approximately 1127 2020 Deaths by Gun Violence- 41,000 2020 Opioid Deaths- 81,000 2017 Black Babies Aborted-295,000 (latest numbers) Poverty culture that permeates this country is the root of ALL above!

She was about to stab someone

Npr was asking for donations on the radio, hehe

These are good reforms. Screening for hate group involvement is critical.

I think that what they’re suggesting is that police officers respond and wait until the “carnage” is done and then thank the culprit for not making them uphold the law or defend another life from being seriously injured or worse, murdered. Utter ridiculousness!!

So they are just gonna act like the life of the other black girl wasn't in danger? If the cop let her get stabbed, they would still be protesting and calling him racist.

She was attacking another person with a knife. The video is clear.

MaKhia was literally going to stab another person. What a joke

Don’t say: in the Ohio city...say the city...it’s Columbus, Ohio.

I find it funny that despite the video released about the shooting, there's still people proclaiming police murdered her. Some people are just programmed to be outraged & miserable.

Defund the police. Replace them with trained experts who will actually help people.

I lived in Columbus for 4 years. It is a shit show in the black neighborhoods. Violence & neglect are the norm. Black on black crime is horrendous. Drug use is rampant. Back leadership is non existent. I have live all over & the black community in Columbus is incredibly violent!!

Y’all she was trying to stab another woman right 😡

Is anybody keeping track of number of innocent black kids murdered every week by gang members? Astounding. Anyone in Black celeb or activist hierarchy care? Why not work with police to find child killers? End gangs-save our children! KingJames donlemon Oprah WhoopiGoldberg

Thank you Officer for saving the other gal.

Where are the protests for city crime killings? Guess it’s not important when u r killing people on people.

We need the REAL backstory of why this girl was swinging a knife. And the other guy kicking the crap of the person on the ground. George Floyd? Easy to understand. This one? Tell us more please.

Maybe also include what they were doing at the time. Transparency and accountability. There might be a correlation here... just maybe.
