Think bigger picture here. Who really will pay for this in the end? Surely the big banks will find a way to pass these costs on to an already struggling working class.
Never gonna pass. Education, prisons, healthcare and elections are all profit driven industries in the USA, and they're gonna stay that way.
It should be tuition free public college, period. Compromising before negotiating is never a good idea. Don’t propose compromises, start w/ the actual demand and maybe more. It’ll be negotiated down if any of this would even pass w/o progressives finally organizing a strategy

Wouldn't it be great if everyone who wanted to go to college and was smart enough could just go? Think of how great The United States could be with a highly educated population.
an education you can't get a job with- how unhelpful is that? Colleges should be obligated to make sure students don't get a degree in something that leads nowhere.
