20 days late for an April fool's joke article...

“Opening your windows instead of turning on the air conditioning?” Summer in south Texas, that’s about as effective as turning the heat on full blast.

Media needs to be pushing legislative measures aimed at cutting carbon emissions at major corporations. It’s the only way to address this ClimateEmergency

ppl with asthma & allergies can't open their frigging windows, we need AC but am on board w/LED bulbs

So, individuals are to blame for this and not the mega corporations and factories ? 🙄 all we need to do now is take a shorter shower! Lol

How much of a difference will that actually make. Isn't most pollution coming from corporations and gov agencies/military?

Are all those massive corporate buildings opening windows too? Are they watching their water use? Or are they dumping toxic waste into the sky, ground, and water?

More than 70% of carbon emissions come from private businesses. We could all plant gardens in our backyard, turn off our lights, and stop using our cars, and it would still barely dent our production of greenhouse gases.

Idiots are running the media

Individual, voluntary efforts won't be enough to avoid climatecatastrophe Legislative measures directed at polluting industries & polluting consumption may be a beginning. We are dangerously far from that.

Ever try opening windows during spring in Virginia? Find a solution to the pollen/allergies problem, and I’m all in.

And personal carbon emissions are nominal compare to industries
