Had a climate change denier at one of my hurricane demos. As I calmly and civilly confounded each point in her, already debunked, litany of misinformation, she became more agitated; eventually running out in front of everyone. They don’t want to learn.
Does it really matter what the name is? If it’s Hurricane Pierre instead of Hurricane Beta, is it any different? It’s still a hurricane!
Changing the name does not mean there will be less hurricanes; climate change is happening.
Or we could just like, not anthropomorphize them at all
It's all Greek to me.

Way back painting this guys house, we got to talking & he told me he was in the tech biz. I said that sounds like something Id like to do. He told me don't bother, it wasn't 'for me'. I got a degree in Computer Information Systems 4 years later. I should go buy his friggin house.
