I don’t understand this...won’t people have to pay all the back all the back rent anyway once this ends?

These stories though.

I truly am curious about these stories. He should have been getting unemployment plus $600 a week while the store was closed. And a stimulus check for that 2-3 months. What am I missing. I was hit pretty hard but the safety net was there. What happened?

1/ The issue is that these laws protect some at the expense of others. When as a landlord you have not received 1 cent of rental income for several months, it is an issue. You have mortgage, taxes, insurance and other expenses to pay.

Many are using this opportunity to sell drugs out of their home placing the land lords and those around them at risk ! Evict them all it is a free market not a welfare market !
