Lets say he has been working 365 days straight with Covid patients. That means he has seen 8.2 people a day die from COVID. If he worked 5 days a week he saw 11.5 people die each day. Seems believable. 🤔

This is ridiculous. Does NPR check their sources? Most nurses work 3 shifts a week. A traveler might work 4-5. This nurse probably has 4-5 patients max. There’s no way he saw 11-20 patients die every single shift he worked. No way in hell.
