I see lots of comments on Sitka only having 8500 residents. If thats the case then less doses should be sent there and more to other states. Meanwhile we got states where people with comorbidities cant get vaccines. This isn't an Alaska issue this is a Biden issue.

I love to see this. Sitka is not a big year-round population, but they see huge populations pass through their scenic community and they have ties to villages in more remote areas of Alaska. Vaccination benefits communities, not just individuals. This good work will slow spread.

Same here in the Interior. Tanana Chiefs Conference vaccinating tribal members 16+ and just started offering vaccination to any employee of the Fairbanks School District, Native and non-Native. 😀
