Ignoring this abuse was criminal , abused again by dept of Ed . Where does the 4 million go?

THAT FINE IS NOT NEARLY ENOUGH FOR michiganstateu

They’ll just fire a bunch of staff to make up the money. 😑

hereandnow For all those who look down on folks for reporting child abuse of any kind, let this be a reminder to you. Sometimes being a responsible person means being a rat.

Where are the sanctions

A drop in the bucket; to MS it’s a rounding error;insignificant

Should close it down !

What about USA Gymnastics? They are responsible as well.

Dozens of lives ruined by their turn of the eye should result in a fine of at least 10x that amount!

Penn State had bowl money stolen by the Big Ten. In addition to some of the most draconian sanctions in NCAA history. The MSU President was one who led the charge against Graham Spanier and PSU..... anyone out there? Emmert? Delaney....Warren? Anyone?Anyone?

ChiTownLionPSU Surely Mark Emmert and the NCAA will jump in soon, right? Maybe a $60+ million fine? I wonder what Louie Freeh thinks.

Money means nothing, throw administrators in jail.

Fined approved with a wink and a nod from Betsy Devos, no doubt.

should have been 4.5 BILLION !

That guy is a POS!!

That's insanely low for that school. They'll write a check in a minute.

Sparty got off easy with “systemic failure” when it seemed like the administration did all it could to fail (and continue to fail) their student athletes on this one.

A ridiculously low fine for an organization that has a $3.5 billion endowment and allowed a sexual predator to abuse hundreds. Like all those bank “fines”, this is all for show. They think because to an average person $4.5 mil is a lot, we’ll think justice is being served.

MSU spends about $25 million/year on their football program and takes in upwards of $60 million/year from said program but, sure, this seems appropriate. 🙄

ChiTownLionPSU When will NCAA and BigTen step in and issue their fines like they did to PSU.

Not enough...

Maybe they can use that money to approve some loan forgiveness or reimbursement of teachers in the workforce that handle rural and low income areas?

Rather small sum considering the damage done and the money they have been taking in.

This guy makes Epstein look like a boy scout.

“No problem, we’ll just raise tuition.” - michiganstateu

A fucking pittance

Wow so like 1 minute of football revenue during a game for decades of sexual abuse. NCAA needs to be burned to the ground, fucking sham

An absurdly low amount. That's a football coach, not a fine.

You mean to tell me educational institutions protecting unethical behavior by teachers isn't just a tdsb thing?

If not, she's not free to speak the truth and whatever she says could be propaganda for the state. Do you know if this show will ever open outside of Arkansas? It sounds like an incredible play.
