'Christian' nation my a$$.

What medicine would be needed for cleaning a glass eye? I would have thought soap and water then a saltwater rinse... Mexico is more than able to provide for them.

How did he get a prosthetic eye in the first place if his Country is so crappy? And why didn't his Father think of that before entering into another Country? We can't help people if they are irresponsible parents we already have enough of those in the USA.

Ridiculous. I thought asylum meant fearful for your life. The kid got an eye for crying out loud. I’m sure he can get drops. Oh but in America they will be free. Never mind. And freeceverything else due to being disabled.

Dip it in añejo

He’s more likely to see a real doctor in Mexico than California. I broke my leg, went to 2 ERs and urgent cares, only PA’s and nurse pracs. Can’t even see a doc for a broken bone.

Back in my day urination, was considered sanitation.

If the criteria for asylum was lowered to the level that dems seem to want then 50% of the earth would be eligible. I can't wrap my head around why that seems ok to some. Look at our own streets. People are struggling. You want to add to that and stress the system more?

So Sorry, but we have LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS who need just as much help and they PAY TAXES

mrgames2 Not our problem.

They'll have to take the govt to court. This is ridiculous. Are there any good samaritans who can donate the correct drops for him?

So they are being persecuted for having dirty eyeballs? How is this a claim for asylum?

“Hard to get” does not qualify for asylum.

Using children as propaganda props again

What has America got to do with it?

Pretty sure anyone could donate to him. Who is volunteering first?

As sad as that is, it’s not asylum claim worthy.

Push all the hungry African kids out of the way plz .... this is urgent stuff! We need to make room for Jonathan and his dad to come through. Prosthetic eye cleaning! Let them in before it’s too late!

I pray for you 🙏🏼

The ACLU should and will challenge in court to stop this.

Sad.

Maybe they should have stayed safe in their home country rather than attempt this scam on Americans.

Bummer

We will keep an eye out for the supplies

Do we have children dying everyday from lack of healthcare? Why should we worry about some random kid from some random country and his prosthetic eye being cleaned? Shit if we going to start worrying about random kids around the world how about all the kids dying from hunger?

To keep the eye clean? Give me a break. It's the same solution you would use for contact lenses

Juarez has excellent care, and substantial medical tourism from the US.

Sucks to be him! (Hopefully the sarcasm translates on Twitter.)

You do know there are pharmacies in Mexico I kid u not

Here’s your America, folks. Penalizing families seeking asylum (which is legal).

NPR Choice pageIf you ever had it - you now the fight within your body Government knows better how to treat patients than doctors? Welp! I guess abortion restrictions are back on the table. My condolences to all victims and families of sepsis but Seems like recognition was the issue rather than the treatment in your example.

NPR Choice pagelmfao yeah, until they start 'pressuring' the Senators. Just wait. Thank You. Only if Zuckerberg doesn't want it to happen. Zuckerberg is a liar, and a POS who belongs in jail... but he's not stupid. If you think he hasn't used his position to gather intelligence you are really ignorant.

NPR Choice pageThat should be interesting considering 0verdises are largely polypharmacy & illicit drugs. So, CVS & Walgreens MAYBE f’ed up in one city...so the solution is involuntarily rapidly taper or completely cut-off life-saving opioid pain medication to the rest of the 50+million Americans suffering w/ chronicpain? That makes ZERO sense. opioidhysteria Maybe NPR will join us and tell our stories too. Instead of adding to the opioidhysteria. Millions live in pain and fear. Addiction is still a constant. Rx meds are denied. Yet the OD crisis continues.
