My first car. I thought I would, for sure, die in it. But I didn’t and I miss it dearly!! 73SuperBeetle

My first car in 1972 was a 1959 psychedelic painted bug. Was cheap. Loved that car. With my long blond hair I could drive it anywhere no problem but my boyfriend drives it and cops stop him over and over. Was funny. Was my car.

I drove one all over Nigeria in the late 70s and early 80s. Very practical...if you got stuck a few villagers could lift you out of the muck and get you on your way.

I owned 3 VW vehicles - over the years..... now they are priced for the semi wealthy.

NPR Choice pageIs Sanders still boycotting it? I think Warren Warren2020 has the progressives... now she has to work on getting others on board. Framing her policies as not attacks but rather to start to unrig a totally biased financial system would be a start. Gotta appeal to masses or she won't get elected...

NPR Choice pageThis is a travesty Keyword: Illegal There is NO excuse to NOT get your citizenship in 30+ years. Actions have consequences. (It is unfortunate at times) There is roughly a million people in the US with removal orders & those with criminal histories are the ones being sought. If your children serve in our military it should be an automatic and IMMEDIATE path toward citizenship. PERIOD.

NPR Choice pageBut - But, this is socialism! These kids could wind up being as unhealthy as Danish children!!! I struggle to make sense of this meaningless propaganda piece. Maternal and infant mortality drop the most when women’s status in society rises not with provision of mass medical care. Diarrheal diseases are the foremost killer of children under 5. Formula contributes to deaths. Syringes and bandages to combat malaria and sepsis? Either the journalist missed some key points of this miraculous death rate drop or they purposefully wrote a manipulative propaganda piece to mislead the public about the power of medicine.
