IvankaTrump you're so worried about photo opportunities how about visiting a food bank and see what food insecurity really does to families. Your administration is doing everything it can to take away any safety net they have. So much for the economy

Get some of the wasted dollars being given to the corrupt politicians.

The food insecurity game is a multi billion dollar business! Don’t fall for it! The number of nonprofits in this business is staggering!

Bet it is higher than that.

ctseto France has a zero waste law where expiring food is required to be donated before it expires. The food shelves here are very good. US states should implement the rule.

Our school district also has a program that sends weekend food home with kids all from donations. If anyone has the means to get it started in your area it's a great resource

And the number will continue to raise if health equities are not put in place!

Support TheGoodrCo ! jasminecrowe has a solution.

I’m sure it’s higher than that that’s going to be very under reported

Especially those whose very health depends on a restrictive diet.

Maybe if we didn't keep cutting taxes for the rich we could afford to feed the hungry.

Experiencing poverty with two young children to feed was an experience that changed my life. I kept the kids warm with stolen firewood and fed them handouts from the local food pantry and poached fish and venison. Poverty is hard... very hard.

This headline is misleading. The report does not differentiate citizens from noncitizens—report refers to ‘households.’

The administration and Republicans don't care. At all.

We have been fortunate, there are people who will wait a long time for food at the local King's Kettle Food Bank

Nice

Grow your own food then! it's not hard.

First money, Then medically, Don't forget housing, Now food. Yeah, corporations are doing us good, right?!

But yet we want to let in undocumented immigrants when we can’t even feed our own.

NPR Choice pageI’m not rich but I’m certainly better off. Ah yes because people only care if they have jobs. Not if they hate their jobs & they are making the same amount of money while costs skyrocket... That’s not difficult since it’s freaking true.
