NPR Choice pageUgh! The best is the robo message: This is the IRS calling because we have a criminal warrant against you. I literally don't pick up the phone anymore unless the person is in my contacts. Just sort everything out from voice mail. Honestly, if people want to get ahold of me, texting is far superior and they'll get a quicker reply. Phone number spoofing should be illegal and carry a $100,000 fine per instance.
