Los Angeles County's district attorney has asked a judge to dismiss and seal the records of 62,000 felony cannabis convictions for cases as early as 1961 — as well as 3,700 misdemeanor cannabis possession cases.

Finally something I can't critique

Great idea!

They should pay them for their time for their loss of freedom, and other things punitively that resulted as a result of the conviction. Some people got life in prison for one measely joint, and died in there !

I will point out that each of those cases cost each of those victims of that prohibition about $5000 in legal fees minimum.
