65°F That's the temperature scientists reported on the Antarctic Peninsula on Thursday. If verified by the World Meteorological Organization, it would be the continent's hottest day on record.

This is terrifying!!!

It was 67 in Honolulu this morning

chelseaperetti ...since 1961. That seems like an important item to have in the headline.

Ask them to explain this sh!t too!

That's funny, here in Ohio we just got blasted with snow. But just a day or two ago it was like spring was on its way.

It was like 67 here in LA 💀

Nothing to fear but fear itself. And The Thing.

This is extremely upsetting.

Probably because it's summer in the southern hemisphere.

If somebody from Louisiana can go outside in Antarctica and think “Eh, it’s not so bad”, we have a problem.

This is not good

Records of temperature in Antarctica start in 1961, far to shor a time period to make any conclusion regarding climate change.

Even though no one had thermometers there for the millions of years prior to 1900.

Well. This makes me sad.

That’s insane. Inauguration Day can’t arrive fast enough.

Single highest temp reading for a location in Antarctica would be more accurate than hottest day. The reading was at one location on the continent. To say it was the hottest day for the continent one would have to consider the average temp anomaly of the entire continent.

Any reporting on the monster snowstorm that has pretty much brought the Colorado mountains to a standstill? I didn't think so.

😳

On record as recorded over the last 50 years. The Earth is 4.5 billion years old.

Think those penguins are thinking what the hell is going on with this planet?

NPR Choice pageOmg. An investigation of Joe and Hunter. Oh dear. We can’t have that. 🤨 That is why Trump is mad. Except for the fact that they got their aid money not even realizing that their aid was halted. I mean, is this guy so obsessed with the President that he can't even keep up with what is going on in Washington? Maybe read a paper you loser.
