The coronavirus quarantine that's kept some 3,700 people aboard a cruise ship in Japan is currently set to expire on Feb. 19 — but that date will be reset every time a new case is confirmed on the ship, a WHO official says.

What happens for people traveling without their kids. Trapping people indefinitely can’t be the solution.

This is a zero sum game.if the virus is now endemic in the environment, no amount of “rolling quarantine” will work....only solution ( pending a vaccine) is to let it spread and work its way through the population...create the natural herd immunity, culling a certain % nCoV2019

No exercise in a small room for weeks, being fed mass produced commercial food, they're going to have to roll those folks off the ship after a long enough timeline.

If it is true we did not quarantine a New Jersey cruise ship, why don't we have a similar WHO dictate? PhilMurphyNJ

This is ridiculous. Why can’t they take people off and quarantine them separately off the ship?

Those poor people.

Survivor...at port call.

Worse places to be quarantined

It is the only way to get off the boat is to catch the virus ?

DiMartinoBooth Just the work of the common corona flu, no need to be alarmed or sell your stocks. This will not affect international markets whatsoever. The world economy is past the boom and bust cycle and has become resilient through massive 'not QE' Don't understand? No problem! Buy stocks.

I for one am stoked to see this movie

Nightmare!

Why are so many infected? Where did they go as a group?

So basically they're gonna stay there indefinitely until everyone has had it lol

3700*2 weeks...

That sounds awful. Those poor people.

NPR Choice pageOmg. An investigation of Joe and Hunter. Oh dear. We can’t have that. 🤨 That is why Trump is mad. Except for the fact that they got their aid money not even realizing that their aid was halted. I mean, is this guy so obsessed with the President that he can't even keep up with what is going on in Washington? Maybe read a paper you loser.
