'How many kids were sprayed?' 'I'm assuming what we had out here — maybe 300.' Audio of a 911 call reveals the chaos at a Los Angeles school, after a Delta flight released about 15,000 gallons of fuel before making an emergency landing.

bmarsalis Nancy Pelosi “politely”, tore up His State Of The Union crap paper while applauding was going on!😆

Good thing they had already finished their blunt.

Would you prefer all those people had died?

United Airlines: *beats up a passenger* Delta: Hold my jet fuel.

🤢

This is basically a modified modern trolley problem. Not sure the folks responding down thread have a lot of background in ethics.

Why didn’t it do it over the ocean?

But contrails don’t exist 👍🏽

If any of these kids and teachers get cancer Delta should be sold for parts and the money given to the victims.

Pretty sure the plane didnt have a choice st the time. Rather have a fireball?

Curious how often this actually happens. Assuming this step is protocol for the entire spectrum of “emergency landings”.

This fuel dump is absolutely insane.

Testing a future terror attack? Thank you Delta for doing the Taliban’s work.

YaNanous do the kids actually think that,?

They always dump fuel in an emergency landing so they don't burst into flame when they hit the ground.

Sucks, but take a shower and move on. People's lives were in danger.

Jet fuel has a ton of cancer causing carcinogens in it. Benzene is one. Delta this seems extremely dangerous especially after all the fires California has experienced AND exposing children to jet fuel. WTAF.

Why is this even a problem ? Negatives : Maybe it might kill some grass. Stain some peoples cloths. Positives: Save about 300 Lives .... Only Democrats would complain about something like this !

Let's step back some 70 years ago when the U.S. Military purposefully released chemicals over our cities.

I was in LA that day with my granddaughter, who's in grade school. Everyone was trying to find out what schools had been affected. Unbelievable.

The alternative is a crash landing from hitting the runway over weight. When safety allows fuel dumps at higher altitudes allow dissipation.

NPR Choice pageLook up Robert Mook and Iowa Caucus App 1 👀 2 Good News I keep reading on twitter that Pete’s campaign paid the app. That there are ties. WTH is going on? Why is he giving a victory speech when he’s suppose to be so behind? I’m sure TheDemocrats and iowademocrats will continue to insist that Votefinderzz was a great idea, but clearly they’re the party of Jerry.

NPR Choice pageHonestly, that amount of money is obscene. We need campaign finance reform. Ninety. Two. Million. Dollars. Just in PAC money. And this 'drains the swamp' how, exactly? Sadly this is also a barometer for the next president. Aren’t lobbyists just the best 🙄?
