The North Pole Police Department continues to release statistics of their monthly activities, along with a new announcement about summer foot patrols.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - After pledging action to improve communication and trust with the local community, the North Pole Police Department has continued to issue monthly service bulletin updates on their activity.

Most notably, the amount of traffic citations nearly doubled since the previous month, from 64 citations in March to 102 in April. While the number of traffic warnings also rose, it was only by a difference of 17. However, DUI investigations decreased from seven to four.
