Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation president-CEO Brynn Boback-Lane celebrated a $1 million donation from Wayne and Debra Grund to Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. During a press conference on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon, the couple said they recognize that for children and youth to live healthy, meaningful lives full of promise, their mental health and well-being must be addressed.
“We all want our kids to be healthy and happy,” Mental Health and Addictions Minister Everett Hindley said, adding that the donation will help programming “when and where they need it, particularly in rural Saskatchewan.”
