The Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Monday, Jan. 22, 2023. CLEVELAND, Ohio — More snow is expected today in Northeast Ohio, but don’t expect too much accumulation.
Forecasters say snow showers likely will continue until about 3 p.m. before tapering off, adding about another inch to the stuff already on the ground. Cleveland had 4 inches on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service, while some eastern suburbs had more than 6 inches. Highs during the day will be around 35 degrees, with overnight lows around 30. Winds will pick up overnight and gusts could reach 26 mph.
The rest of the week is looking kind of messy, weatherwise. Highs on Wednesday will be near 40 degrees, but there’s a chance of a mix of rain and freezing rain during the morning and early afternoon. A mix of rain and snow showers is possible Thursday. It will be cloudy through the weekend with highs in the mid-30s and chances of both rain and snow showers. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
