Miller Kerr had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, or CRPS, a rare nerve disorder that causes debilitating pain to linger indefinitely. Next week, she will be dancing at Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

When she was a little kid, Miller Kerr played just about every sport you could name. It was during a basketball game, when at the age of 10, her life changed. "I kind of stumbled back and I kind of went to the ground end and I was like what's happening that hurt really badly, I tried really hard to hold back some tears," says Kerr. "They told me nothing was wrong, it's probably just a deep bruise you'll be fine in a couple of weeks," says Kerr.

"Pretty much my brain is sending signals to my legs that saying that I'm in pain when I'm not in pain," says Kerr. "Those low days you don't wanna live anymore, you do think of life without pain is anything is better than life with pain," says Kerr.
