)NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio - North Olmsted Board of Education members appointed a new Superintendent at their Monday evening meeting.
Chris Caleris was appointed to the role of Interim Superintendent effective April 16 and superintendent effective Aug. 1. Most recently, Caleris was the district’s Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Services. He started his career with North Olmsted City Schools 23 years ago. Caleris worked as a math teacher at North Olmsted Middle School, the Assistant Principal at North Olmsted High School and Principal of Butternut Primary School.
“North Olmsted is truly a special place with a dedicated team that cares about our students and their success,” said Caleris.“As a board we met to review applications for the position and engage in the interview process.
