, Kelly William , Zorga Qaunaq, Doreen Simmonds , and Tanya Tagaq have been tapped to join previously announced leads and newcomer Keira Cooper. Further details about the new cast members’ characters are being kept under wraps.In North of North, Lambe is set to portray a young Inuk mother named Siaja, who wants to build a new future for herself. However, achieving this won’t be easy in her small Arctic town where everyone knows your business. Cooper will play Siaja’s daughter Bun.
The series is created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, who are executive producing alongside Miranda de Pencier, Susan Coyne and Garry Campbell. The comedy is being directed by several directors including, Anya Adams, Danis Goulet, Zoe Leigh Hopkins, Lisa Jackson , Renuka Jeyapalan and Aleysa Young, with Adams also serving as an executive producer.
