The Florida geology is not friendly to tall structures. Yes - civil engineers do assess and design for long term. But ... you can't assure exact explicit construction and maintenance.
Maybe that should've been done in Florida when water was rushing into parking garage.
This is just the beginning of mass exodus from Florida..... Retirees now have to think of some place else..... Hurricanes, Alligators, Swamps, Mosquitos and now collapsing buildings..... ?!
